Puppy Cuddles & Cat Lounge

Sydney has dog cafes. Sydney has cat cafes. Nobody had put both on the same ticket.

You get 30 minutes with 20 puppies, then 30 minutes in Cha & Zak's cat lounge with a barista coffee already waiting for you. No queue.

You will leave with puppy fur on your clothes and a cat asleep in the chair you were about to sit in.

How your 75 minutes runs

15 minutes upstairs. A short briefing, shoe covers on, and you order your coffee so it's made while you're with the puppies.

30 minutes in the puppy room. Twenty puppies, free roaming, with our staff on the floor the whole time.

30 minutes in the cat lounge. Cha & Zak's resident cats and your drink, served to you.

Arrival times are fixed and the rotation doesn't wait, so come at the time on your ticket.

Where it is

Cha & Zak's Clubhouse, Unit 2/12 Rich Street, Marrickville. Street parking nearby and a short walk to Marrickville Metro.

Tickets

$85 per person. Every person attending needs their own ticket, adults and children alike. Children under 16 must come with an adult ticket holder, with at least one adult for every two children. Everyone signs a safety waiver, linked in your confirmation email.

Is this cat yoga?

Not quite. There's no yoga in the Cat Lounge. It's puppy cuddles followed by time with the cats, which is what most people are after when they search for cat yoga or kitten yoga in Sydney. If you'd like yoga with the animals, our weekend puppy yoga classes run at 8 studios across Sydney.

Good to know

  • Wear fresh clothes that haven't been near your own pets. Young puppies have weaker immune systems.
  • The puppies have all already been adopted and come from legitimate homes we inspect. They're vet checked and vaccinated.
  • The cats live at Cha & Zak's and are looked after by their team.
  • Allergic to cats or dogs? We can't promise any of the animals are hypoallergenic, so it's your call whether to come.
