3. Health, Safety and Eligibility
-
Participants must be in a state of general health fit to participate in yoga and to be in close proximity to live animals.
-
You must not attend a Session if you are displaying symptoms of illness including fever, coughing, vomiting, or diarrhoea.
-
Allergy and Immune Disclosure: If you have a known allergy to dogs, dog dander, or any animal-related allergen, or if you have a compromised immune system or are undergoing immunosuppressive therapy, you must disclose this to Doga Sydney prior to booking. Doga Sydney does not warrant that its Sessions are safe for individuals with such conditions and strongly recommends you seek independent medical advice before attending.
-
Participants under 15 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian throughout the Session. The guardian is responsible for the conduct of the minor at all times. Unless an exception has been made by Doga Sydney management, all children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult ticket-holder in addition to their own ticket (minimum 1 adult for every two children).
-
Pregnancy: if you are pregnant, you attend the Activity at your own risk. Doga Sydney recommends you obtain medical clearance prior to participating.
4. Hygiene and Biosecurity
-
Doga Sydney operates a mandatory hygiene and biosecurity protocol at all Sessions, including:
-
sanitisation of all studio surfaces, mats, and equipment with veterinary-grade F10 disinfectant before and after each Session;
-
mandatory sanitisation of participant footwear and outer clothing upon entry using a Parvo-specific sanitisation spray;
-
exclusion of puppies from Breeder Partners whose animals have displayed illness symptoms within 14 days of the Session.
-
Participants must comply with any hygiene or biosecurity instruction issued by the facilitator.
-
Participants must wash or sanitise their hands before and after interacting with puppies.
-
Canine Parvovirus Notice: Canine Parvovirus (CPV) is a highly contagious viral disease. Doga Sydney implements a vaccination confirmation protocol with all Breeder Partners and the biosecurity measures described above. However, no biosecurity protocol eliminates all risk of transmission. Participants who have dogs of their own are encouraged to exercise appropriate caution and ensure their own pets are fully vaccinated prior to attending.
-
Doga Sydney reserves the right to refuse entry to any participant who appears unwell or who is not complying with the biosecurity requirements.
5. Puppy Interaction Rules
All participants must comply with the following rules at all times during a Session. These rules exist to protect the welfare of the puppies and the safety of participants.
-
Do not pick up, carry, lift, or restrain any puppy unless explicitly instructed to do so by the class facilitator.
-
Do not apply direct pressure to any puppy's joints, spine, neck, or abdomen.
-
Do not feed any puppy human food, drink, chewing gum, confectionery, or any other substance.
-
Do not bring any food, treats, or animal-related products into the studio without prior authorisation from Doga Sydney.

-
Do not remove, attempt to remove, or permit any puppy to exit the designated studio space.
-
Immediately notify the facilitator if a puppy appears unwell, is injured, or displays unusual behaviour.
Breach of any puppy interaction rule may result in immediate removal from the Session without refund. Doga Sydney may, at its discretion, seek to recover costs associated with injury to a puppy caused by a participant's breach of these rules.
6. Animal Welfare
-
All puppies participating in Doga Sydney Sessions are sourced exclusively from Breeder Partners under formal written agreements. Breeder Partners warrant that puppies are healthy, vaccinated in accordance with current veterinary guidelines, and fit for public interaction.
-
Puppies are not owned by Doga Sydney, are not permanently housed at any Venue, and are returned to their Breeder Partner following each Session.
-
Doga Sydney does not accept responsibility for the health, condition, or behaviour of any puppy beyond the reasonable implementation of its biosecurity and care protocols.
-
In the event that a puppy becomes unwell during a Session, the facilitator has authority to remove the puppy from the studio immediately. The Session may continue at the facilitator's discretion.
7. Venue Rules and Conduct
-
Participants must comply with all rules and reasonable directions of the Venue operator.
-
Doga Sydney is not responsible for loss of or damage to personal property brought to a Session.
-
Participants must not cause damage to Venue property. Any damage caused by a participant (whether to the Venue or to studio equipment) may be recovered by Doga Sydney.
-
Doga Sydney reserves the right to remove any participant from a Session without refund where the participant's conduct is unsafe, disruptive, or in breach of these Terms.
8. Limitation of Liability

-
Doga Sydney grants participants a personal, non-commercial licence to photograph and record video during Sessions for personal use only. You must not tag Doga Sydney in any content that is defamatory, misleading, or in breach of any applicable law.
-
If you publish Session footage or images publicly, you grant Doga Sydney a licence to re-share that content for promotional purposes.
10. Privacy
-
Personal information collected by Doga Sydney (including name, contact details, and health declarations) is handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and Doga Sydney's Privacy Policy.
-
Personal information is used to administer bookings, manage Sessions, comply with legal obligations, and, where consent is provided, for marketing communications. Doga Sydney does not sell personal information to third parties.
-
Health and allergy declarations made in the Waiver are retained for the purpose of managing participant safety and may be used in the event of an incident or insurance claim.
11. Amendment and Currency of Terms
Doga Sydney may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will be published at www.dogasydney.com.au/terms. Your continued attendance at Sessions following publication of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of those Terms.
