Our classes are designed with both humans and puppies in mind!
Puppies come first
How we look after the puppies
We work with licensed breeders from across the country, and we inspect every one on site to make sure they meet the rules of their local governing bodies. We never work with backyard operations or puppy farms, and we often work with rescues where we can.
We don't own any of the puppies in our classes. Every puppy already has a new family, and that family agrees to their puppy coming to class.
Class is part of their socialisation. They meet calm people, new sounds and a new room before they head to their new families, which helps them settle into a home with more confidence.
Every class, every puppy
8 to 12 weeks old
At least 8 weeks, in line with NSW animal welfare law, and well past the time they need to be with their mother.
Vet checked, vaccinated, wormed
Every puppy has had 2 vaccinations (the third is at 16 weeks) and is up to date with worming.
4 staff for 18 to 20 puppies
About one for every five puppies, on the floor the whole hour. A puppy that looks stressed or overwhelmed is taken out of the room to rest.
Sleeping puppies stay asleep
Nobody wakes a napping puppy, in class or out.
Eat, drink, pee, poo
Food and water are always out, and the puppies pee and poo whenever they need to. There's a lot of it.
Clean rooms, clean hands
Classes are indoors and the room is sanitised between every session. Shoes come off, hands are sanitised, clothing is misted with disinfectant on the way in, and no outside dogs come in.
A puppy's day with us

An hour of play
A class is an hour. The yoga is optional the whole time, and most people spend it sitting on a mat playing with the puppies.

An hour's nap
Between classes the puppies nap for an hour in a quiet area away from guests. For every session they're active, they get equal time to rest.

Taking turns
Puppies sit out some classes, and we rotate them through the day.

Frequently Asked Questions
We run every class so the puppies' needs come first, and the puppies are never used as props. Our classes are mainly puppy cuddles, and the yoga lasts about 30 seconds before the puppies come out. The puppies come from licensed breeders we inspect on site, their new families agree to them coming, they take turns and nap between classes, and our staff watch them the whole hour.
Our staff watch the puppies the whole hour. A puppy that looks stressed or overwhelmed is taken out of the room to rest, a sleeping puppy is left to sleep, and every puppy sits out some classes in the day.
The Australian Veterinary Association recommends socialising puppies with people and new places, ideally before 12 to 14 weeks of age. Class gives our puppies calm people, new sounds and a new room before they go to their new families.
Every puppy in our classes already has a new family.
Yes. We often work with rescues where we can.
Children are welcome, and every child needs their own ticket. Children under 16 must come with an adult ticket holder, with at least one adult for every two children.
