Puppies Come First
Our Puppies are Already Adopted
We don't own any of the puppies you see featured in our classes. They are already adopted and attend our classes before they go onto their new homes as a way to socialise with each other and humans.
We only partner with ethical and responsible breeders.
Our puppies come from all over Australia. We ensure that our partner breeders are all qualified, ethical and registered. We top this off with a site inspection to each home to guarantee that our puppies only come from proper places and not backyard breeders.
The Perfect Hour
Puppies get an hour nap in between each class. Throughout the day, they also have constant access to food, treats and water as they please. If any puppy decides to take a nap during class, we don't disturb them and if any pups show signs of distress, we take them asideto ensure they are not overwhelmed.
Frequently Asked Questions
We partner exclusively with licensed, ethical breeders across New South Wales. We conduct site visits to their homes to ensure they are legitimate and not backyard breeders. Approximately 90% of the puppies in our puppy yoga sessions already have loving homes lined up and will be adopted within a week or two after their class. Puppy Yoga provides a safe, enriching space for them to socialise with humans and explore new environments, helping them build confidence before settling into their forever families.
Sometimes! While most of the puppies in our yoga classes already have homes, we occasionally help connect future pet parents with our trusted breeder partners. It’s a great opportunity to spend time with the puppies and get to know their personalities before making a decision.
Yes, occasionally for charity and awareness events. While we love supporting rescue organisations, many rescue dogs require more specialised environments due to past trauma.
That’s why the majority of our sessions feature breeder-raised puppies who are adopted and ready for gentle socialisation in a group setting.
All puppies are a minimum of 8 weeks old, in accordance with NSW animal welfare legislation. Every puppy is vet-checked, up to date with their vaccinations and healthy before participating in any Doga Sydney session.
BESPOKE EVENTS
Have an event that needs puppies? We'll make it happen.
We create bespoke corporate wellness events tailored to your team's specific needs. Our experienced team will guide you through the entire process.
Doga Sydney was founded with a simple idea: combine the calm of yoga with the joy of puppies to create something genuinely uplifting. What started as a single session has grown into Sydney’s largest puppy yoga experience, with weekend classes across nine locations and a corporate events programme trusted by some of Australia’s biggest companies.
Puppy welfare sits at the heart of everything we do. We partner exclusively with licensed, ethical breeders across New South Wales and conduct in-person site visits to every home. Our puppies are never sourced from backyard breeders or puppy farms. Every puppy that attends a Doga Sydney session is a minimum of 8 weeks old, fully vaccinated, vet-checked, and already has a loving home waiting for them. They join our classes as part of their socialisation - learning to interact with humans and new environments before heading to their forever families.
Between sessions, puppies rest for at least one hour and have constant access to food, water, and a comfortable space. If any puppy shows signs of tiredness or stress during a class, our trained handlers gently take them aside for a break. We never push our puppies beyond what is healthy and appropriate for their age and temperament.
Our yoga instructors are experienced professionals who specialise in beginner-friendly, inclusive classes. The focus is always on relaxation, enjoyment, and connection rather than intensity or perfection. Whether you have never tried yoga before or you are a regular practitioner, our sessions are designed to meet you where you are.
We are proud to have welcomed thousands of guests across Sydney and to have partnered with leading organisations for corporate wellness events. But at the end of the day, our measure of success is simple: did you leave happier than when you arrived?
